A bracket holds firm only when the wall is right, the position is right and the bolts are right. The 5 details installers most often overlook.
① Wall requirements: solid brick or concrete walls can be mounted directly; hollow brick or insulation-layer walls require through-wall tie bolts for reinforcement.
② Installation height: the bottom of the outdoor unit should be at least 2.5m above ground and no lower than the top of the window — for easy maintenance and to avoid pedestrian collisions.
③ Levelness: left-right level error should be under 5mm; the drainage side of the outdoor unit can be 3–5mm lower.
④ Bolt selection: use M10 or larger stainless expansion bolts, at least 2 per side; wooden plugs are strictly prohibited.
⑤ Regular inspection: check rust and bolt tightness once a year; severely rusted brackets must be replaced immediately.
